MOTHER OF THE BRIDE/ OCCASION WEAR COMING SOON!
MOTHER OF THE BRIDE/ OCCASION WEAR COMING SOON!
Around 12-18 months before your wedding is a good time to start looking for your dress. I would advise that you should aim to order your dress at least 10-12 months before your wedding to allow time for your dress to be made, delivered and fitted. For brides with a shorter timescale - Don't panic! Dresses can be ordered Under Lead Time for a small fee and I will have sample dresses on sale which will be available to buy and take away the same day during certain times of the year.
You can bring as many guests as you like, however, I would advise that you bring those whose opinions you value and trust the most. It can be tempting to want to bring many friends and family members however it can become difficult to make a decision when you're focused on pleasing too many opinions.
Please refrain from bringing young children with you to your appointment due to the delicate nature of the dresses and items around the boutique.
A strapless bra can be useful if you want to try on strapless dresses although a lot of the dresses offer excellent built in support. There are shoes for you to try on with the dresses however, if you have a favourite pair or have already purchased your wedding shoes then please feel free to bring them along.
The only thing I do ask is if you could please refrain from wearing heavy makeup and fake tan as this can stain the dresses.
My dress samples are sized between 10-22 with the average dress being around a size 16. Don't worry if that's not your size, there are lots of ways to give you a good idea of how the dresses will look when they are in your size and will fit properly.
You would need to book a separate appointment for your bridesmaids to try on the dresses from our collection. This ensures your bridesmaids are able to take their time choosing from the different styles and are also comfortable and happy with their dresses. Each bridesmaid appointment will vary with time depending on how many bridesmaids you have attending, which we can discuss when you make an appointment.
The dresses range from £700 - £2000
If you have seen a dress on our designer's website that you would like to try and I do not have it in the boutique, it is possible to get the dress on loan. I will contact the designer on your behalf to find out the availability of the sample dress and arrange a convenient appointment with you to try it on. There may be a small delivery charge which will be refundable if you decide to purchase the dress.
To place your order there is a non-refundable 50% deposit required. The remaining balance is then due within 2 weeks of your dress arriving into the boutique. We also have an interest free credit service available. This means you can spread the cost of the dress over a period of time. This starts usually with a £150 non- refundable deposit. But as detailed above your dress will only be ordered once the 50% threshold is reached.
Once you have chosen your dress and wish for me to make the order I will provide you with a "What happens next" leaflet along with your invoice and terms and conditions.
At Bisous we have a fully qualified seamstress available for any alterations you may require or you are free to take your dress to a seamstress of your choice. All alterations are a separate charge and will be payable direct to the seamstress.
The fitting process begins around 6 weeks prior to your wedding date. This will give you the chance to discuss your requirements and allow your seamstress to give you an idea of timescale to complete your alterations.
Once the alterations are completed you can collect your dress from the boutique or we can hold on to your dress right up until the eve of your wedding. The dress will be steamed/ pressed and packed in a protective wedding bag.
The boutique operates by appointment only with availability from Wednesdays to Sundays.
Late night appointments are available on Wednesday and Thursday evenings.
